"Pobal Gathering"

Pobal is Irish for 'community', and this is a gathering to facilitate the Connaught (and surrounding areas, if you will travel you are welcome!) Pagan and magical community, and provide a space and time for discussion and socialising. As this is a new gathering, all support is much appreciated!

It is held in Tulsk Visitors Centre - Cruachán Ai - and runs from 8pm to 10pm, with drinks in a local pub afterwards (this part is, of course, entirely optional). To get to the Centre, drive into Tulsk village (on the main N5 route) and straight through, heading for Westport. Park in "Kelly's" Car park, and it is right in front of you! The meeting is held in an upstairs room, there are signs just inside the door.

This is a Monthly Meeting, to be held on the First Tuesday of every month {7th of October - which is the third such meeting - 4th of November, and 2nd of December in 2003} and there will be a charge of about 3 or 4 Euros per person (depending on how many show up) to cover the cost of the room.

The Gatherings will be facilitating themed talks (7th of October's is based around Samhain, and moot participants will be helping out in Tulsk Village at Hallowe'en with their regular event), and will also be hosting speakers. Vinnie Woods has agreed to do a workshop on Crystals at an upcoming gathering.
