~ Féile Draíochta 2006 ~
A Festival of Irish Magic and Spirituality



Ireland's Independant National Event, run by and for the Irish Pagan Community as a whole, will be held in 2006 on Saturday, July 22nd, and will run from 10 am until midnight. The venue is Chief O’Neills, in Dublin.



Féile Draíochta (phonetically pronounced as Fay-lah Dree-ockta) is packed with talks and workshops from some of Ireland's most knowledgeable and entertaining speakers, on a variety of topics which will be fascinating to everybody who is interested in Irish heritage, mythology, modern magic, healing, divination, environmental issues, or who is even just curious!

There will be musical entertainment, exhibitions by amazing artists and craftspeople, energy healers, psychic readers, and a wide variety of stalls supplying a wide variety of tastes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Dublin Bus routes serving Smithfield are: 39, 39A, 37, 70.
Map showing location and the LUAS line which runs right by Smithfield. It is the RED line which runs from Tallaght to Connolly Station.



Parking is available on the street, though it is payable by feeding the meters (at least every 3 hours) from 7 am until 7 pm. The cost for on street parking at the meters is €1.30 per hour. There is also a 24 hour multi-storey car park at Usher’s Quay, shown on the map below. The cost for this is €2.40 per hour or €20 per day.

There is a "Park and Ride" service available at the Red Cow stop on the Luas Red line. The cost for one day’s parking is €4, and €2 for half a day. These car parks are for Luas passengers travelling that day. If you do not have a Luas ticket valid for travel on the day you park you will have to pay an additional charge when you leave the car park. Parking for disabled drivers is now free of charge at all Luas Park & Ride stations.
The Red line Luas runs from 06.30 until 00.30 on Saturdays.
